Oregon-Stanford Game Live On Satellite

OK. Here’s a hint on watching the Oregon-Stanford football game live on Saturday: look for a bar or restaurant with a satellite dish.

If they have a satellite dish and know the coordinates, they most likely can pick up the game.

So, go to your closest restaurant, bar, or sports bar with a satellite dish Saturday night and watch the game. If they have a satellite dish, they should be able to pick up the game. If they can’t or don’t know how…Well, let’s just say that they’re not much of an establishment. Or at least, they’re not trying real hard (Or, according to one bar, they are not willing to pay for it.).

But before you watch or listen to the game, make sure you get all the news you can about the Ducks at DuckSportsNews.com.

If you don’t frequent sports bars all that often, here are few options in select cities from around the state. If you are planning to go somewhere and watch the game, I would suggest that you call ahead. And if they are showing the game, I would suggest that you get there early.

(DISCLAIMER: Even though each one of the following confirmed that they will be showing the game, they did not guarantee that they would be able to pick up the game. Most of them said that they definitely would be able to get the signal. Some said that they are 90% sure. And a few said that would not be sure until game time.)

If you can’t make it to a local establishment to watch the game live on satellite, cut yourself off from all forms of media and communication Saturday evening and watch the replay on the Oregon Sports Network. Regardless of the results, it will be all new to you.

But if you truly want that live experience and can’t make it anywhere to watch the game, gather the family around the radio and listen to Jerry Allen call the game on the Oregon Sports Network.

  1. Magoo’s Sports Bar in Salem will also carry the game.

  2. Anywhere in Palm Springs area?
    Does anyone know the coordinates?

Same rule applies to you, as well. Basically, find a sports bar and see if they can determine the coordinates.

As far as posting the coordinates is concerned, it’s probably not a good idea.

We are in Seattle with no watch parties.
Anyway to email coordinates as opposed to posting?

  5. Seattle Mallard -

I feel your pain. But we do not know the coordinates. And I’m pretty sure we would be on shaky ground if we did and distributed them.
